Permissions and privacy

Page access

Readlang reads the page you open it on so it can translate the words you click and import articles. Because you start it from its R button or the right-click menu, setting its site access to on click in Chrome keeps it off pages where you are not studying.

Data notes

The listing discloses personally identifiable information and website content. Readlang's policy describes an account holding your email, saved words, translations, and imported texts; looked-up text goes to Google for translation and OpenAI for AI definitions, and Stripe handles payments. The policy says Readlang does not sell personal data.

Pricing

Free plan with daily phrase limits; Premium $6/month and Premium Plus $15/month. Pricing and plan limits change more often than store metadata, so use the linked developer page as the final check before subscribing.
