What Jetwriter AI is

Jetwriter opens as a movable modal on any page to draft replies, chat with the page, fix grammar, rephrase, and translate selected text. In Gmail it can learn your tone from sent mail and pull answers from linked help docs or web search, and it adds reply buttons in Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other sites.

Feature coverage

  • Context-aware replies in Gmail and messaging sites
  • Chat with any page and transform selected text
  • Saved writing styles, prompts, and voice input

What stands out

  • Strong rating on a large sample
  • Updated in September 2026
  • Developer declares no data collection

Tradeoffs to know

  • Free plan allows only 15 responses a month
  • Gmail auto-drafting needs mailbox access
  • Replies still need a read before sending

Permissions and privacy

Page access

Jetwriter works on any page through a shortcut, selection, or right-click, and adds buttons inside Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and similar sites, so it requests broad page access. Gmail auto-drafting uses a separate Google authorization; set Chrome site access to on-click if you only use it occasionally.

Data notes

The developer declares no data collection on the listing. Its privacy policy adds that Gmail auto-drafting reads only new messages after you enable it, saves drafts without sending them, and passes message content to third-party AI providers that it says may not retain or train on it.

Pricing

Free plan with 15 responses a month; paid Elite and Ultra plans. Pricing and plan limits change more often than store metadata, so use the linked developer page as the final check before subscribing.
