What daily.dev is
The extension replaces Chrome's new-tab page with articles and discussions drawn, by the developer's count, from over 2,000 sources and ranked by AI personalization and community upvotes. Squads, comments, reading streaks, and custom feeds sit on top, and the paid Plus tier adds extras such as an ad-free feed and a clickbait shield.

Permissions and privacy
Page access
The core job is overriding the new-tab page, which does not require reading the sites you browse. Compare the install prompt against that job and decline optional access you do not need. Disabling the extension restores Chrome's default new tab if the feed turns into a distraction rather than a habit.
Data notes
The listing discloses personally identifiable information and authentication information, consistent with sign-in, profiles, and community features. Reading history, upvotes, and Squad activity drive personalization and public profile features, so check what your profile and shareable DevCard reveal before posting or sharing them.
Pricing
Free core feed; optional paid daily.dev Plus subscription. Pricing and plan limits change more often than store metadata, so use the linked developer page as the final check before subscribing.
