What Momentum is

Momentum bets that the new-tab page is a behavioral lever: instead of autopiloting into a feed, you see the focus you set for the day. Todos, quotes, and integrations extend it; Plus unlocks custom photos and app integrations.

Feature coverage

  • New-tab dashboard with a daily focus
  • Todo list and quick links
  • Daily photo and quote
  • Weather
  • Task-app integrations on Plus

What stands out

  • Long-standing 4.5 rating across 13.7K ratings
  • Gentle, habit-shaping design
  • Free tier covers the core ritual

Tradeoffs to know

  • Many integrations and customizations require Plus
  • Store lists PII and authentication information
  • A beautiful dashboard can itself become the distraction
